Taekwondo is an excellent way to build strength, discipline, and confidence from a young age. Our programs cater to Preschoolers (5-6 years), Kids (7-12 years), and Teens & Adults (13+), ensuring age-appropriate instruction, skill development, and personal growth for every student.

Earning a black belt typically takes about four to five years of dedicated, consistent training. The exact timeframe varies depending on the individual’s skill progression, training frequency, and the requirements set by the specific Taekwondo school or organization.

Class sizes typically range from 12 to 24 students, allowing for personalized attention. At the lower ranks, we maintain a low student-to-instructor ratio—often around 4:1—ensuring each student receives the guidance and support they need to progress.

Taekwondo training develops practical techniques for striking, kicking, blocking, and evading attacks, helping students respond confidently to potential threats. By improving reflexes, spatial awareness, and mental resilience, Taekwondo practitioners are better equipped to protect themselves if the need arises.

You’ll need a Taekwondo uniform (dobok), an appropriate belt, and basic protective gear—such as headgear, chest protectors, and arm/shin guards. All of these items are available for purchase on-site, making it easy and convenient to get everything you need. (Sparring gears are not needed for Mighty Monkeys)

Yes! We hold regular belt testing ceremonies to recognize and reward progress, and offer opportunities to participate in competitions and demonstrations. These events help students gain confidence, set goals, and celebrate their Taekwondo journey.

Taekwondo training builds overall fitness by improving strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health through consistent, structured workouts.
